The Cretan Aquarium.

It is located on the territory of an old military base, 14 km east of the capital of Crete - Heraklion, the town of Gouves. The entire flora and fauna of the Mediterranean Sea is located on 10 000 square meters of the largest aquarium in Greece.

Adults and children very often cannot tear themselves away from the beauty beyond the windows of the aquarium. However there is no sense to describe what you can see there.  Since the atmosphere is mysterious and fabulous and it is impossible to convey it in words. It is better to see once than hear a thousand times.

Not far from the Cretan Aquarium is the Dinosaur Museum, which features a small exposition of the British Museum.
